About Me

How did you become involved in writing, and how did you start?

I became involved with writing because I read a-lot of books also, because writing you can learn from your imagination and that's what I did, I had a great imagination. I remember my first book, that I wrote and illustrated when I was 5 was titled "Kindergarten" and it was about a girl who experienced her first day of being a kindergartener. In stories, there has to be a main character and a problem.

Are there any kids like me?

I asked many people that question, as a kid, I'm busy like an adult. Well, the reason I asked many people that question, is because many kids are not like me. I gre w up calling authors, getting advice, interviewing, and sending my work out to "book" publishers, not magazine, or websites, even though it takes them a long time to respond, I have to be patient. Also, authors really have to be used to rejections, and they are very persistent people, to check their work, rewrite pages, and it back out to a different publisher. You have to be very persistent. "Patient" is another thing because publishers get over 1,000 stories a day, they have to review everyone's stories. It takes 3 to 6 months, before a publisher responds back to you.

Where do you go when you write?

I got to a qiet place and write, and when I get a pencil on that piece of paper it storms like a missil. The best place to write is outside, more feelings and always keep a notebooks incase ideas come to mind.

Are there any other hobbies you have?

Drawing, typing, making comics, and much more. Of course, writing is not the only thing I'm good at.
